From the initial request for quote (RFQ), to final assembly, packaging and shipment, our process heavily emphasizes quality control and defect detection early on. It also emphasizes timely communication to our customers at every stage along the way.
Request for Quote (RFQ)
We guarantee quote turnaround within 48 hours of the submission of your request. While we prefer vector artwork to quote your project, we don’t need it. We can quote based on basic information including sketches and visual renderings such as photographs. Just give us an idea of material and manufacturing methods you’re thinking of, together with basic dimensional and illumination requirements. If you’re not sure what you want to build, we can recommend many of these details for you if you provide us with your signage business objectives and goals.
Art Approval
Once we receive your purchase order together with your vector artwork, we will make minor modifications to your artwork to accommodate our manufacturing processes. Once we receive final approval of our production vector art, your order will enter into our production process and you will receive an order acknowledgement and projected ship date. Shortly following art approval, we will send you detailed wiring diagrams so you can can get ahead of the curve in your local permitting and installation planning processes.
Installation Process
Immediately following art approval we will email digital installation templates so you can pre-drill your mounting holes while your Provis products are in transit. When your Provis products do arrive to your desired ship-to destination, they will include mounting templates produced with Blue Back paper to maintain its form and shape in all weather conditions for weeks, without curling, fading or distortion, simplifying your installation process.
Production Process and Quality Control
What makes our production process unique is our redundant quality control inspection points every step of the way throughout the production process. We strive to maintain perfect quality, but in the event there is a quality defect – when and if that defect occurs – our goal is to identify and correct for it early on in the production process to minimize any impact on your project timeline.
Packaging and Damage Prevention
We have global experience shipping to countries in all hemispheres, and we’ve learned over time that our packaging design and processes need to be able to withstand the rigors of international air cargo shipment. That’s why, when we package and crate our products, we use “cure-in-place” polyurethane foam that molds an impact-resistant cushion around your Provis products, ensuring they will arrive at your door in perfect condition.
Post-shipment Services
Once we ship, we’ll stay with you throughout the importation process and your installation and start-up operations to ensure your project is a success. We can clear goods through US Customs on your behalf (our products are duty free), and our landed pricing to your dock is very competitive. We can assist you with the challenges of installation, and are happy to provide video tutorials specific to your program to make it easier for your licensed installers. In this way costly installation mistakes can be avoided, while ensuring finished signage consistency across all of the locations of your signage program rollout. Because we do our own installation in Southeastern Europe (we are wholesale in every other part of the world) we get your installation pains, and can help you through that process. We can also provide the technical specs that your UL inspector may require for final approval prior to start-up.
